Visa Information

The Immigration Office at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), a part of the Department of Immigration, streamlines the process for tourists traveling to Nepal by offering visa-on-arrival services. To secure a visa upon your arrival by air in Nepal, you will need to complete an application form and submit a copy of your passport. Visa application forms can be found in the arrival hall, and some airlines may provide them during the flight. Additionally, electronic passport holders can utilize visa registration machines in the immigration hall, which will automatically generate the visa form once your passport is inserted. Alternatively, you can obtain a visa from Nepalese Diplomatic Missions in your home country prior to your arrival.

Citizens of the listed countries are advised to obtain visas in advance from the Nepalese government’s diplomatic missions, including embassies and consulates in their vicinity, before their arrival.
