Manram Himalayan Voyages presents the Safari Trek, a unique program designed to offer an immersive experience across Nepal’s three major regions: the Hilly, Mountain, and Terai. The journey begins in Kathmandu, the ancient and vibrant capital, where travelers can explore a rich tapestry of history, culture, and spirituality. Wander through Kathmandu’s narrow streets, encountering centuries-old temples and UNESCO World Heritage Sites like Swayambhunath and Pashupatinath, offering a deep dive into the city’s heritage. The trek then takes us to Pokhara, a serene city nestled by Phewa Lake and surrounded by the Annapurna Mountain range. Pokhara’s breathtaking natural beauty, coupled with opportunities for peaceful boat rides and easy hikes with panoramic mountain views, makes it a must-visit destination.
The final leg of the Safari Trek leads to Chitwan National Park in the Terai region, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Asia’s most renowned wildlife reserves. In Chitwan, embark on thrilling jungle safaris, and observe a diverse range of wildlife, including endangered species like the one-horned rhinoceros and Bengal tigers. The park’s dense jungles and grasslands offer a unique ecosystem that will captivate nature and wildlife enthusiasts. DAY 1: Arrive In Kathmandu(1400m/4593ft).
DAY 2: Visit Swayambhunath, Kathmandu Durbar Square, and Boudhanath Stupa.
DAY 3: Fly to Pokhara (822m/2696ft).
DAY 4: Drive to Kande, Trek to Pothana (1890m/ 6200ft) /Australian Camp (2050m/6726ft).
DAY 5: Trek to Landruk (1565m/5433ft).
DAY 6: Trek to Ghandruk (1950m/6397ft).
Day 7: Drive to Pokhara.
DAY 8: Fly to Chitwan (415m/1361ft).
DAY 9: Full-day excursion to Chitwan National Park.
DAY 10: Fly to Kathmandu.
Day 11: Final Departure.

Upon arrival at Kathmandu International Airport. You will be received by Manram’s representative at the airport. Flight details: TBA
Transfer and check-in at the hotel.
Rest at the hotel.

DAY 2: Visit Swayambhunath, Kathmandu Durbar Square, and Boudhanath Stupa – B
After breakfast at the hotel visit, Swayambhunath Stupa also known as the Monkey Temple, which is located on a hill west of Kathmandu. The stupa is surrounded by prayer flags and small shrines, and there are hundreds of monkeys living in the area. From the top of the hill, you can enjoy panoramic views of the city. After visiting Swayambhunath, head to Kathmandu Durbar Square, which is in the heart of the old city. The square is home to several temples and palaces, including the Hanuman Dhoka Palace and the Kumari Ghar (the home of the Living Goddess). If lucky, catch a glimpse of the goddess from her window.
Next, we take an easy walk or rickshaw ride through the narrow alleyways of the old spice & vegetable markets of Ason. The small alleys are filled with shops selling clothes, jewelry, spices, copper utensils, and many more so you get to witness the real bazaar with its hustle & bustle. We then reach Thamel, a popular tourist hub with plenty of restaurants, and book & souvenir stores. Lunch in Thamel.
Afternoon free for shopping and exploring Thamel. Return to the hotel to rest.
In the evening visit Boudhanath Stupa, one of the most important pilgrimage sites for all Buddhists. Tibetan Buddhists start and end their way with a circumambulation of the stupa, a sort of daily pilgrimage. The stupa comes alive in the evening with butter lamps lit all around.
Dinner at a rooftop restaurant overlooking Boudha Stupa, the pilgrims, and 1000-lit butter lamps.

DAY 3: Fly to Pokhara – B
After breakfast at the hotel, Transfer to the domestic airport for a short flight to Pokhara a beautiful city and famous tourist destination, upon arrival if the weather is clear, you can view the Machhapuchhare and Annapurna Mountain range. Transfer to the hotel and get refreshed. Later explore the beautiful Phewa Lake and Pokhara city and last-minute shopping and packing.

DAY 4: Drive to Kande, Trek to Pothana /Australian Camp – B.L.D
Early breakfast at the hotel transfer to Kande by private jeep which takes 2 hours. Welcome by the trekking guide team and start the trek to Pothana or Australian Camp (2050m/6726ft) which will take around 2 hours. The scenic view of Lamjung Himal, Machhapuchhare, Hiunchuli (6441m/ 21132ft), and Annapurna South (7219m/ 23684ft). Overnight at Pothana or Australian Camp

DAY 5: Trek to Landruk – B.L.D
After breakfast in the lap of Himalayan, hike towards the small pass of Deurali and descend to Tolka before reaching the village of Landruk, mainly inhabited by the Gurung ethnic group. After taking a break to observe the area continue the hike for about 5-6 hours to Landruk village from where you can enjoy the scenic views of Machhapuchhare, Hiunchuli, and Annapurna South. Overnight Local lodge.

DAY 6: Trek to Ghandruk – B.L.D
After breakfast at the Lodge hike down to the Modi Khola cross-suspension bridge and hike up to Ghandruk village home to the Gurung ethnic group. The village is known for its culture and charming dry-stone houses. Stroll around the village and try out the Gurung cultural dress for a photo. Overnight at the Local Lodge with a beautiful overview of the Machhapuchhare and Annapurna range.

Day 7: Drive to Pokhara – B
After breakfast with the beautiful mountain view, bid farewell to the trekking guide team and drive to Pokhara by private jeep which takes around 2 hours. Upon arrival Pokhara check-in at the hotel and take some rest. Later explore Pokhara visiting the World Peace Pagoda, Davids Fall, and Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave. Change to Paragliding (optional). Overnight at Pokhara Hotel.

DAY 8: Fly to Chitwan – B.L.D
After breakfast at the hotel, Transfer to the domestic airport and fly to Bharatpur. Arrive at Bharatpur airport where you will be met by a resort crew who will transfer you to their resort at Chitwan. Upon arrival at the resort, serve a welcome drink in the resort lounge area and have lunch. After lunch settle into your room and later explore the resort area with some refreshments. Later stroll around the Narayani River with the resident elephant with the naturalists and watch the family of elephant’s bathes and frolic while you enjoy a sundowner and return to the lodge for hot showers and cold beverages before dinner.

DAY 9: Full-day excursion in Chitwan National Park – B.L.D
After breakfast, prepare for a river safari in the Narayani River. The outing commences with a nature walk or bullock cart ride through the riverine forest, followed by a scenic float down the river. Cruising on the wide expanse of the river, pockets of rapids propel the boats along as gentle waves lap the sides. Sitting inside a hand-carved out, keep your eyes peeled for a variety of birdlife and wildlife. Top of the list is the endangered fish–eating Gharial crocodile and its more sinister relative, the Marsh–Mugger.
A Nepali-style lunch will be served back at the resort, after which you might want to relax. Later in the afternoon, when the weather is cooler and the animals become active, meet with the naturalist for a jeep safari in the national park to get a taste of the jungle. You can ask questions about the animals and the history of the park. During the safari, you will encounter wildlife such as different species of deer, birds, monkeys, the endangered one-horned rhinoceros, and hopefully the elusive Royal Bengal Tiger. You will drive back to the resort to get fresh, and dinner will be served.

DAY 10: Fly to Kathmandu – B
After a leisurely breakfast at the resort, transfer to the Bharatpur domestic airport and fly back to Kathmandu.
Upon arrival at Kathmandu domestic airport, you will be received by Manram’s representative and drive to the hotel. Later in the evening enjoy the farewell dinner.

Day 11: Final Departure – B
After breakfast at the hotel Later we will organize a transfer to the airport for international departure depending on the flight time.
