DAY 1: Arrival in Kathmandu.
Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be greeted by a Manram Voyages representative who will assist with your transfer to your hotel. The bustling capital city of Nepal offers a mix of rich culture and modern amenities. Warm welcome and check-in at the hotel. Our representative will meet in the evening to discuss the trip in detail.

DAY 2: Drive to Machha Khola – B.L.D
Start the day early with breakfast before embarking on a scenic drive to Machha Khola. Traveling through diverse landscapes. Travel through diverse landscapes, including the Trishuli River valley, passing terraced fields, lush forests, and small traditional villages. Enjoy the picturesque views of rugged terrain as we cross the Arughat Bazaar and follow the Budhi Gandaki River. Upon reaching Machha Khola, a quaint village situated by the river, check into the lodge and rest after the long drive.

DAY 3: Trek from Machha Khola to Jagat – B.L.D
After an early breakfast, begin your trek from Machha Khola. The trail initially follows the Budhi Gandaki River, with a mix of ascents and descents that take us through terraced fields and dense forests. Crossing several suspension bridges, each offering unique perspectives of the river below and the surrounding landscape. The trek passes through small villages such as Khorlabesi and Tatopani. In Tatopani, enjoy a brief stop to view the natural hot springs, a welcome sight after the day’s hike. The trail continues to undulate as it approaches Jagat, a charming village known for its stone houses and vibrant local culture. Upon arrival, at Jagat nestled in a picturesque setting, providing a glimpse into the traditional lifestyle of the region.

DAY 4: Trek from Jagat to Deng – B.L.D
Today’s trek is a captivating journey through the Budhi Gandaki Gorge, starting with a steep ascent from Jagat. The trail takes through diverse landscapes, including terraced fields, dense forests, and rocky terrain. Crossing the Budhi Gandaki River multiple times via suspension bridges, each offering unique views of the river’s rapids and lush green valleys. The route passes through the village of Philim, a Gurung settlement experiencing local culture before continuing. The trail descends towards Deng, the surroundings of barley and potato fields. Upon reaching Deng, a serene village, relax and enjoy the peaceful environment, reflecting on the day’s journey.

DAY 5: Trek from Deng to Namrung – 20 km, 6-7 hours
After breakfast the trek from Deng with a gradual ascent through lush rhododendron and pine forests, creating a serene and verdant atmosphere. The trail offers a varied landscape as we make our way upwards. Along the way, passing through the village of Ghap, a small settlement nestled amidst terraced fields and rich greenery. Continuing, the views of the towering peaks of the Himalayas gradually come into focus, enhancing the trek with breathtaking scenery. The trail then leads to Namrung, a picturesque village that reflects a blend of Tibetan and local influences. Here, traditional stone houses and colorful prayer flags create a vibrant setting, providing a glimpse into the high-altitude culture and lifestyle of the region. Namrung’s serene ambiance and cultural charm make it an ideal spot to relax and acclimatize.

DAY 6: Trek from Namrung to Lho – B.L.D
Today’s trek from Namrung to Lho is shorter yet highly rewarding. The trail features a gradual ascent through verdant pine and rhododendron forests, interspersed with open fields that offer sweeping views of the surrounding landscape. On the trek, the path winds gently upward, providing unobstructed views of the towering peaks of the Himalayas. Upon reaching Lho, a charming village perched at an elevation, upon arrival greeted with a breathtaking view of Mt. Manaslu and its surrounding peaks. Lho is known for its traditional stone houses and vibrant local culture, we can experience and explore the village. The village is also home to a notable monastery with cultural and religious significance. The serene environment and spectacular views make this trek a memorable and enriching experience.

DAY 7: Trek from Lho to Samagaun – 15 km, 3-4 hours
After a hearty breakfast, begin the trek from Lho towards Samagaun. The trail ascends gradually through a diverse range of landscapes, starting with lush forests and moving through traditional villages. Experiencing the tranquil beauty of the surrounding nature, with occasional glimpses of the majestic Himalayan peaks. The route offers increasingly spectacular views of Mt. Manaslu, which becomes more prominent and awe-inspiring as we near Samagaun. This Tibetan-influenced village is nestled at a higher altitude and serves as a crucial acclimatization point for trekkers. In Samagaun, experience the local culture, explore traditional Tibetan architecture, and interact with the friendly locals. The serene environment and cultural richness of Samagaun make it an ideal place to rest and prepare for the higher altitudes of your journey.

DAY 8: Acclimatization in Samagaun
Spend a full day acclimatizing in Samagaun to help the body adjust to high altitude. This crucial rest day allows us to explore the village, which is rich in Tibetan-influenced culture and traditional lifestyle. Visit the Pungyen Monastery, known for its serene setting and spiritual significance, or embark on a day hike to Manaslu Base Camp. The hike offers stunning views of the towering Manaslu and surrounding glaciers, providing a rewarding challenge. This day not only aids in acclimatization but also enjoy in the local culture with the breathtaking natural beauty of the region.

DAY 9: Trek from Samagaun to Samdo – B.L.D
After acclimatizing in Samagaun, begin the trek to Samdo. The trail gradually ascends through expansive yak pastures, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding Himalayan peaks and the Tibetan border. As we hike, the landscape becomes more rugged and open, showcasing the vastness of the high-altitude environment. Samdo, a small and tranquil village, provides an ideal setting for rest and further acclimatization. Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, interact with the local Tibetan-influenced community, and prepare for the higher altitudes ahead.

DAY 10: Trek from Samdo to Larkya Phedi, Dharamsala – B.L.D
Trek from Samdo to Larkya Phedi, also known as Dharamsala. The trail gradually ascends through rocky and barren landscapes, reflecting the rugged nature of the high-altitude terrain. The hike is surrounded by expansive views of towering peaks and glaciers, enhancing the dramatic scenery. Larkya Phedi, located at the base of the Larkya Pass, serves as the base camp for the challenging crossing ahead. This serene and remote area offers a chance to rest and acclimatize, preparing us for the demanding trek over the pass.

DAY 11: Trek from Larkya Phedi to Bimthang via Larkya Pass – B.L.D
Today’s trek is the most challenging of the journey. Start early to tackle the steep ascent to the Larkya Pass. The climb is demanding, but the breathtaking panoramic views from the pass offer a spectacular reward. After crossing the pass, descend through a diverse landscape of snowfields, rocky paths, and moraine-covered terrain. As we climb down, the environment gradually transitions into the lush greenery of Bimthang, a charming village in a picturesque valley. This long day requires considerable stamina, but the unparalleled scenery and the sense of accomplishment upon reaching Bimthang make it a truly memorable experience.

DAY 12: Trek from Bimthang to Dharapani and then drive to Kathmandu – B.l
After breakfast, trek from Bimthang to Dharapani. The trail descends through lush forests and terraced fields, providing a refreshing change from the high-altitude terrain and offering a different perspective of the landscape. Upon reaching Dharapani, we completed the trekking portion of our adventure. Next, drive back to Kathmandu via Besisahar. The drive meanders through picturesque landscapes, concluding our trekking adventure with scenic views as you return to the capital city.

DAY 13: Sightseeing in Kathmandu – B
After breakfast, visit Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple) on a hill west of Kathmandu for panoramic city views and see the monkeys and shrines. Next, explore Kathmandu Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with palaces, temples, and the Kumari Ghar (home of the living goddess). Despite earthquake damage, it remains a key cultural landmark. End with a rickshaw ride through the spice market to Thamel for lunch and shopping.
In the evening, visit Boudhanath Stupa, one of the most important pilgrimage sites for Buddhists. Tibetan Buddhists start and end their day with a circumambulation of the stupa, a sort of daily pilgrimage. The stupa comes alive in the evening with butter lamps lit all around.
Enjoy a farewell dinner at a rooftop restaurant overlooking Boudhanath Stupa.

DAY 14: Final Departure – B
Today is the final day. After breakfast based on your flight time, the Manram representative will transfer you to the international airport for your onward flight.
