DAY 1: Arrival in Kathmandu.
Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be greeted by a Manram Voyages representative who will assist with your transfer to your hotel. The bustling capital city of Nepal offers a mix of rich culture and modern amenities. Warm welcome and check-in at the hotel. Our representative will meet in the evening to discuss the trip in detail.

DAY 2: Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi – B.L.D
After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Syabrubesi. The journey offers a captivating transition from the urban sprawl of Kathmandu to the tranquil landscapes of the Langtang region. Enjoy breathtaking views of lush countryside, terraced fields, and rolling foothills, with the Langtang River meandering alongside. The road winds through charming villages and vibrant green hills, providing a serene contrast to the city’s hustle and bustle. Upon arrival in Syabrubesi, settle into your lodge for the night, ready to rest and prepare for your trekking adventure.

DAY 3: Trek to Lama Hotel – B.L.D
After breakfast, the trekking adventure begins today starting the hike from Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel. The trail initially crosses the Bhote Koshi River and then follows the Langtang Khola, taking you through dense forests of oak, maple, and rhododendron. Passing through several small villages and teahouses, with the sounds of birds and the river accompanying the journey. The final ascent to Lama Hotel is a bit challenging, but the serene surroundings make it worthwhile. Upon reaching Lama Hotel, relax and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere.

DAY 4: Trek from Lama Hotel to Langtang Village – B.L.D
After breakfast at the lodge, today’s trek starts from Lama Hotel to Langtang Village. As we ascend higher, the landscape begins to change, with the forests giving way to alpine meadows and yak pastures. The views of Langtang Lirung (7,227m/23,701ft) become more prominent as we approach Langtang Village. This village, heavily affected by the 2015 earthquake, is gradually rebuilding and offers a glimpse into the resilient culture of the Tamang people. Spend the night here, surrounded by the grandeur of the Himalayas.

DAY 5: Trek from Langtang Village to Kyanjin Gumba – B.L.D
Leaving Langtang Village after breakfast. The trail is relatively gentle, allows to enjoy the stunning mountain views and the unique flora of the region. Kyanjin Gumba is a small settlement with a famous monastery and a cheese factory, where we can sample the local yak cheese. The surrounding mountains, including Langtang Lirung and Langshisha Ri, provide a dramatic backdrop. This is a perfect place to rest and acclimatize, preparing for the next day’s hike.

DAY 6: Hike up to Kyanjin Ri and back to Kyanjin Gumba – B.L.D
Today’s acclimatization day involves a challenging hike up to Kyanjin Ri, one of the Langtang region’s most stunning viewpoints. The ascent is steep and demanding but rewards you with breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding snow-capped peaks, glaciers, and the Langtang Valley below. The grandeur of the Langtang Lirung and Langshisha Ri peaks, along with the expansive glaciers, offers an awe-inspiring sight that makes the effort worthwhile. After soaking in the spectacular scenery, descend back to Kyanjin Gumba, where we can relax and reflect on the day’s unforgettable experience.

DAY 7: Trek from Kyanjin Gumba to Lama Hotel – B.L.D
After an early breakfast, descend from Kyanjin Gumba to Lama Hotel, a journey that is easier than the ascent. As we walk, passing through the same lush forests and alongside the Langtang Khola, offering a chance to reflect on the region’s beauty and experiences. Upon reaching Lama Hotel, unwind amidst the peaceful natural surroundings, enjoying the tranquility and preparing for the next stage of your trek.

DAY 8: Trek from Lama Hotel to Thulo Syabru – B.L.D
Today’s trek takes from Lama Hotel to Thulo Syabru. The trail involves both descents and ascents, passing through forests and small villages. Thulo Syabru is a picturesque village perched on a ridge, offering stunning views of the Langtang Himal and Ganesh Himal. The village is known for its rich culture and traditional houses. Spend the night here, experiencing the hospitality of the local Tamang people.

DAY 9: Trek from Thulo Syabru to Sing Gumba – B.L.D
After breakfast leaving Thulo Syabru to Sing Gumba. The trail climbs steadily through rhododendrons and pine forests, with occasional glimpses of the distant mountains. Sing Gumba, also known as Chandan Bari, is famous for its cheese factory and the Sing Gumba monastery. The monastery is a peaceful place to meditate and enjoy the serene surroundings. Spend the night here, preparing for the higher altitudes ahead.

DAY 10: Trek from Sing Gumba to Gosaikunda – B.L.D
Today’s trek is one of the highlights of the journey as we make our way to Gosaikunda, a sacred alpine lake revered by both Hindus and Buddhists. The trek with the trail ascending steadily through rugged terrain and high-altitude landscapes. As we approach Gosaikunda, greeted by the sight of the pristine lake, surrounded by towering peaks. The area is believed to be the abode of Lord Shiva, and many pilgrims visit during the Janai Purnima festival. Camp by the lake, under the stars.

DAY 11: Trek from Gosaikunda to Phedi and hike to Surya Peak – B.L.D
This is a challenging day as we trek from Gosaikunda to Phedi and then hike to Surya Peak, one of the highest points of the trek. The trek to Phedi and ascend to Surya Peak, the summit offers unparalleled views of the Langtang range, the Ganesh Himal, and even the Annapurna and Manaslu ranges on a clear day. After spending some time at the peak, descend back to Phedi and continue to Thadepati for the night.

DAY 12: Trek from Thadepati to Kutumsang – B.L.D
Today’s trek takes us from Thadepati to Kutumsang. The trail descends through dense forests of pine and rhododendron, with occasional ascents as we cross ridges. Kutumsang is a beautiful village situated in a scenic valley, surrounded by terraced fields and lush greenery. The village offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and is a perfect place to relax after a long day of trekking.

Day 13: Trek from Kutumsang to Chisapani – B.L.D
After breakfast, the trek continues from Kutumsang to Chisapani. The trail passes through several small villages and forests, offering a mix of cultural and natural experiences. Chisapani is a popular stop for trekkers, known for its panoramic views of the Himalayas, including the Langtang range, Ganesh Himal, and even the distant peaks of Everest on a clear day. Spend the night here, enjoying the tranquil atmosphere and the stunning sunset views.

Day 14: Trek from Chisapani to Sundarijal and drive to Kathmandu -B
On the final day of the trek, hike from Chisapani to Sundarijal. The trail descends through Shivapuri National Park, a protected area rich in biodiversity. As we walk through the forest, surrounded by the sounds of birds and the rustling of leaves. Upon reaching Sundarijal, pick up for a short drive back to Kathmandu, where we can rest and reflect on your incredible journey.

DAY 15: Sightseeing in Kathmandu – B
After breakfast, visit Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple) on a hill west of Kathmandu for panoramic city views and see the monkeys and shrines. Next, explore Kathmandu Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with palaces, temples, and the Kumari Ghar (home of the living goddess). Despite earthquake damage, it remains a key cultural landmark. End with a rickshaw ride through the spice market to Thamel for lunch and shopping.
In the evening, visit Boudhanath Stupa, one of the most important pilgrimage sites for Buddhists. Tibetan Buddhists start and end their day with a circumambulation of the stupa, a sort of daily pilgrimage. The stupa comes alive in the evening with butter lamps lit all around.
Enjoy a farewell dinner at a rooftop restaurant overlooking Boudhanath Stupa.

Day 16: Final Departure – B
Today is the final day. After breakfast based on your flight time, the Manram representative will transfer you to the international airport for your onward flight.
